I'm going to sit in the corner for a while.

You know, I told myself I wouldn't but like this is the first time my willpower has failed.

Oh Britney.

You know, when people talk about the death of their childhood, I always figured that was exaggeration and you know, just a joke. I tell ya, after watching that painful performance at the VMAs (painful in and of themselves, so thank you Defamer), I'm really starting to feel it. Seriously, I loved Britney, even though she built up unrealistic ideas of high school with that first video. I feel so bad now. And when Christina Aguilera is the only one of that pop music group to NOT be an embarrassment now... well, something is strange right there.

Sometimes I wish I had stronger willpower. Other times, I go watch ice skating and each chocolate that kills my teeth. This is one of the latter times. *sigh*

Im the same. I love Brit, but that was just painful and made me sad.

Well, my music tastes changed a while ago, so while she does still have some catchy songs (that new one she bollocksed up there included) I don't like her as much now. But knowing how much I did... I hurt inside. :(

*pets you* My childhood was dead a long time ago.

I felt a delicious twist of vindication when she got up on stage and bombed like a bombing thing, because I've been pretty sure that it was going to happen. It was inevitable. Like Britney's love of Cheetos and going smokeless.

*sigh* I dunno what's wrong with the people around my age -- Paris Hilton (*shudder* IT BURNS LIKE FIRE!), Britney, and so on. I just have to say "THANK GOD I'm not Lindsey Blohan's age, or I'd probably have to kill myself!"

I've been fighting tooth and nail to save mine. Purely because of Britney. *sigh*

Yeah, I really don't know why everyone - including Britney - thought this would work. SHE'S HAD TWO KIDS! That changes things! Should probably, you know, PROGRESS THE MUSIC STYLE TOO MAYBE. AND THE DANCING? YEAH. *sigh* She needs a slapping.

Ewwwwww, that SUCKS for you. Especially because I have someone close to my age (Hayden Panettiere) who takes her parents to parties. I LOVE HER SO. At least there's a bright side for you? *shrugs and hugs*

*pets* Yeah, she needed to do something -- like lay off the partying and actually WORK toward having a comeback. I mean, seriously, if she'd at least tried, we'd all be singing a different tune, right?

Yeah, working! That thing that doesn't involve alcohol or anything! *sigh*

Heh, singing. That's an ironic word choice.

GET THE DAMN THINGS FILLED ALREADY.

Also, I am bored. The house needs cleaning. And no one will help. Yes, old messages is what I do for fun.
