Logic, let me introduce you to Earth.

How is it fair that we get stuck with footage of the "Royal Wedding" all day Saturday and the Queen doesn't? She's not even going and she's his mother! Hello! *headdesk* She's not even gonna watch the coverage, I bet ya. She's gonna be sitting around, catching up on Desperate Housewives. Or making voodoo dolls of Camilla. And I object to the term "Royal Wedding" and their thing being referred to as a secret affair. The only thing royal about this wedding is that it's a royal cock up and their affair was hardly frakking secret. Everyone knew. Including Diana. *kicks things* I've never been more glad that we have Foxtel and way more DVDs than we know what to do with than I am now.

So moving somewhere that isn't part of the Commonwealth. (Yes, I am aware that rules out Canada. It does, right?)

Still sick and my school is filled with complete and utter morons. And the students aren't that great, either.

Lizzie so wants Shep, yo. Just jump him! He's all ready in a bed! It won't affect the injury!

I think I'll go to bed now. I'm just sounding all kinds of crazy.

Heh, that's why I watch Sci-fi all the time. They didn't even interrupt their regular schedule when the Pope died.

*kicks things* I'm just grateful for Foxtel. They kept it to a minimum and it depended what channel you were watching. Hate free-to-air tv...

yeah. Our major networks (the ones you get even if you don't have cable/sattelite) suck ass.

I think everyone's is. *kicks them*

Yay! They deserve kickage.

I'd like to know what it is people like about reality TV and the news. Give me a good dose of fiction with people worth caring about and a happy hippy sci-fi-tastic message of galactical peace and cool gadgets any day.

[identity profile] livilla.livejournal.com 2005-04-09 06:05 am (UTC)(link)
Well, at least the news is actual reality. Not some prerecorded shit that's edited to pieces. And boring. Word. Gimme sci fi any day.

[identity profile] sparkleferret.livejournal.com 2005-04-09 06:14 am (UTC)(link)
Well, yeah it's a whole hell of a lot closer to reality than "reality tv" but there's still that lovely little thing called spin, but yeah I'm all for that whole "ignorance is bliss" thing.

[identity profile] livilla.livejournal.com 2005-04-09 03:00 pm (UTC)(link)
*nods* This is true. Especially on Fox News. *spits on them* Biased fuckers. Hooray for ignorance!

Wheeee!!! Life's too short to worry about a lot.

Damn straight! And one day, I actually won't worry about it. :P
