So, Mum and I are watching Skate America right now (woooo, being behind the rest of the world ROCKS)...
CARMEN. SERIOUSLY. WTF?! Why, Miki Ando, why? Only EVERY SKATER EVER has used this music. Really. Wiki 'Battle of the Carmens'. I have a video of Natalia Bestemianova and Andrei Bukin skating it on Russian Dancing on Ice from last year. Almost the exact same cut of the music, too.
NO MORE CARMEN. It's not even like Bolero, which is ruined by perfection for everyone else (and thank god for that). IT'S BEEN DONE.
*headdesk* Someone skated to Carmina Burana, too. There is other music, people!
