Apr. 16th, 2005 09:33 pmI went shopping today! Got Donnie Darko and Garbage's new cd. Donnie Darko was only $22.83 (just ignore the fact we don't have 1 cent pieces anymore...) for the 2 disc edition. *hugs it* So pretty. Also, my brother is a big dork. He's really getting in the Lord of the Rings strategy game. He went to Games Workshop to learn to do... something today, and it has to be the biggest gathering of dorks and geeks in the Sutherland Shire. Not that I have anything against dorks and geeks, it was just a little scary. And that's saying a lot coming from a fangirl shipper.
I'm also disappointed with the lack of goodfic in the McGonagall/Dumbledore section on the Pit of Voles. You'd think that part of the fandom would be populated with mature writers. Alas, no. *sigh* I should write in character McGonagall/Dumbledore fic. It'd be one of, like, 4. Stupid fandom.
Can't wait for Soniastock '05! Sonia's having her birthday party on Monday and she's calling it that because all music played has to be by a band formed before 1988. And I'm going as a hippy. She says dress like 60s, 70s or 80s on the invite! Looking forward to it. I'm in charge of the music (partly). *grin*
