Somehow, I managed to pull a muscle in my back last night. Brilliant, huh? How I could injure myself stretching my back when I do that every day, I don't know. Damn it.
I think it was worth it, though. I saw Hamlet last night. The Young Actor's Studio at NIDA (The National Institute of Dramatic Art) put it on. It was great! The best show I've seen. It was absolutely amazing. I went with
audiojam. She knew people who were in it. It was such a good show. We were sitting there, staring in awe, the whole time. It was just... wow. Hamlet and Ophelia were really good. They were funny and believably crazy.
audiojam and I were taking pictures afterwards, just so we had proof that we've actually been at NIDA. It was funny. "Get a picture of that sign that says NIDA!" We even took a picture of the building from outside. OK, so a couple from outside, but one looked really cool because it was all the lines of the windows. I want copies, Simone!!
It was definitely worth hurting my back and not finishing homework (which ended up not mattering as I couldn't go to school).
I'm still in shock over how good it was. Shakespeare is not easy to perform. Oh, and
rahhy...
I'VE BEEN TO NIDA!!!!!!!!! Hooray for boasting.
